Scientific American: How Certain Gesture Help You Learn New Words

Today I found one article called "How Certain Gesture Help You Learn New Words". I want to write about this article. They said linking a word to the area of the brain that causes movement enhances the memory of its meaning through scientists' experiment. So making gestures related to the word while studying is effective.

A Good Movie

One of my favorite movies is "Violet Evergarden". This is the final chapter of Violet Evergarden created by Kyoto Animation, which was previously damaged by arson. I want to talk about synopsis of this movie.       Violet, the main character of this movie, was once an orphan, so she was brought to Major Gilbert as a weapon of war. But he wants to keep her alive as a normal girl, and he says "loves" when he's about to die. However, at that time she didn't understand the meaning of "I love you". After the war, she searched for it through the ghostwriting of letters.       I was impressed by the growth and conflict of Violet. The beauty of the picture, the moving story, I strongly recommend you see it!

Pocky Day

イメージ
Do you know "pocky day"? I remembered it when I saw pocky sold at a  store's outstanding position. Pocky day is 11 November. It's come from pocky's form.      Though the day was made to improve the sales, probably, I like this day because I can enjoy many kinds of flavor if we exchange pocky with our friends. Pocky day is coming soon! Please buy them and enjoy the day!

A picture of Cow Hut

I want to talk about this picture. This scene is strange! Eight violinists wearing suits are playing the violin in front of many cows. It seems like violinists are playing lullaby to cows though I don't know whether lullaby is effective to cows. I think This unnaturalness is fun of this picture.
